We are really pleased to annouce our first ever summer fair!
On Saturday 19th July, from 10am to 4pm, join us for a fun-filled day at the Summer Fair! Wander through stalls run by local businesses, where you’ll find unique and handmade goods, then treat yourself to something delicious from our food vendors or a sizzling bite from the BBQ. Kids can let off steam on the bouncy castle, while friends and families enjoy a bit of friendly competition with traditional lawn games. Bring your four-legged friend too—our dog show, proudly sponsored by local businesses, has a variety of classes open for entry on the day. There’s also a scavenger hunt to keep the little ones busy, and the bar will be open for a refreshing drink. And don’t forget to check out our fundraiser raffle, with all proceeds going to support the Friends of Middleham and Spennithorne Schools. Don’t miss out on a brilliant day packed with fun, food, and festivities!
Fun dog show
Calling all proud pup parents! Enter your furry friend into our fun-filled dog show – whether they’re best in show or just best at being adorable, there’s a category for every wagging tail. It’s all about smiles, slobbers, and a bit of friendly competition – so bring your dog and join the fun! Our dog show is from 12pm and is ran by Dales Dog Deli.
Who are we raising money for?
We’re delighted to host such a wonderful event & also support our local community where we can. This is why we have decided this year to choose our fundraising charity for this summer fair to be FOMAS ‘The Friends of Middleham & Spennithorne School’. As a volunteer group, their aim is to organise fundraising events to provide additional funding for our schools that wouldn’t otherwise be available. In the past we have help fund for educational resources, playground equipment, school trips and much more.

We’ve got plenty of fun lined up for the kids at this year’s summer fair! From an exciting scavenger hunt and classic lawn games to a bouncy castle and more surprises, there’s something for every little adventurer to enjoy!
