Red The Reserva   Colección is made from 64% Tempranillo, 20% Merlot and 16% Cabernet   Sauvignon. The wine was aged for 14 months in French barrels, of which a   small percentage were new. Deep of colour, the 2006 has powerful aromas of   raspberry, toast and dark chocolate.

Red     Named after a `bataille’ that was fought here between the French and   English (who else) 600 years ago, Batailley has once again lived up to its   reputation of offering good value, early drinking, quintessential Pauillac.   Made from 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit   Verdot, its toasty, ripe plum and cedar nose leads on to a palate with vivid   cassis and raspberry fruit, creamy vanilla oak and a lovely long   finish.

Red This was so   good that when one of the team first tasted it, he thought it was the Grand   Vin. This is exotic, floral and aromatic, with cassis and hints of ginger.   The high Merlot proportion (33%), which was so rich this year, gives the wine   an extra roundness in 2005, while the finish is very pure and long. Remaining   true to its St Julien terroir this is very good indeed.
